明けましておめでとうございます!
久しぶりにブログを書かせて頂きます。

皆さん、年末年始はいかがお過ごしでしたか？
私は大晦日の夜、そしてお正月の朝はサクラホテル神保町で穏やかな時間を楽しめました。
一月の二日からは最近サクラホテルスタッフで大流行中の日光の温泉に行ってきました。

Happy New Years everyone!
This is my first blog post in awhile.

How did everyone spend their New Years?
I spent New Years Eve and New Years Day here at Sakura Hotel Jimbocho and had a very quiet holiday.
But on the 2nd of January, I went to a hot springs resort to Nikko. Lately, there is a Nikko fad among the Sakura Hotel staff.

日光は東京では味わえないまったりとした雰囲気にかこまれて
とても幸せな時間を過ごすことができました。
せっかっくの日光だったので、世界遺産の東照宮でちょっと遅れた初詣に行きましたー
いやー心が落ち着きますねー　
おみくじも引いて見て、なんと「吉」でした。
ちなみに連れの友人は「危」を引いてしまいました。

In Nikko I was able to enjoy a relaxing atmosphere that you can`t experience in the Tokyo area.
Since we were already in the area, we had to stop by the world heritage Nikko Shines and Temples for "Hatsumode"(The first shrine visit of the New Year in Japan).
It was very serene and beautiful.
I also got a fortune for this year... which said that this year I was "Blessed" or lucky.
My friend`s fortune read "Danger"... neither of us had ever seen such a bad fortune before. It was a little funny.

最後には栃木名物のレモン牛乳を飲んで栃木を満喫できた気がしました。
また行きたいなー

Lastly I had the famous Lemon Milk that Tochigi is famous for.
Ah, wish I could go again...
