Nanakusa-Gayu(the seven spring herb rice porridge)

Hello! This is Risa from Sakura Hotel/Cafe Hatagaya.

Yesterday, January 7th was the day of eating ‘Nanakusa-gayu’ .
This is very traditional Japanese culture since Edo period.

People eating ‘Nanakusa-gayu’ to protect oneself from sickness on cold winter.



Of course we serve ‘Nanakusa-gayu’ at Sakura Cafe Hatagaya!

We use organic spring herbs from Tohoku Farm, so it makes you healthy!!
